(사)한중글로벌협회는 6월12일 보도자료에서 “한국 대선 이후 처음으로 방한한 중국 고위급 인사인 양안디(杨安娣) 지린성(길림성/吉林省)부성장과 우수근 (사)한중글로벌협회 회장이 오찬을 함께하며 한중 민간 외교의 새로운 물꼬를 텄다.  이번 회동은 지방정부와 한국 민간이 직접 연계해 실질적 협력의 기반을 마련한 사례로 평가된다”고 알렸다.

자료에 따르면, 이 만남은 지린성 측의 요청으로 성사됐다. 한국 측에서는 지린성과의 교류를 희망하는 민간 기업 및 단체 관계자들이 참석했다.

지린성 경제·무역을 담당하는 양안디(杨安娣) 지린성(길림성/吉林省) 부성장을 비롯해 지린성 고위 간부들이 대거 방한하여 양측은 다양한 교류 방안을 논의했다. 이는 지린성 측이 한중 간 경제 및 무역 협력을 실질적으로 확대하고자 하는 의지를 반영한 것으로 볼 수 있다.

양안디(杨安娣) 지린성(길림성/吉林省) 부성장은 이 자리에서 "지린성은 새 정부 출범 이후 한국과의 협력에 큰 기대를 걸고 있다" 며 "앞으로 다양한 형태의 교류를 통해 상호 발전의 기회를 넓혀나가고 싶다"고 밝혔다.  

우수근 (사)한중글로벌협회 회장은 "한중 관계는 중앙 외교뿐 아니라 지방과 민간이 함께 움직여야 지속 가능하다"며“지린성은 한국과 지리적으로도 가까운 파트너로, 앞으로 양국 교류의 전진기지 역할을 할 수 있다"고 강조했다.  이어 "이번 만남이 실질적인 교류와 상호 신뢰 회복의 출발점이 되길 기대한다"고 덧붙였다.

우수근 회장은 오는 8월 말 중국 창춘에서 열리는 '중국-동북아박람회' 및 '동북아 지방 협력 원탁회의'에 초청을 받아 지린성을 다시 방문할 예정이다.  그는 이번 방문을 통해 논의된 협력 내용을 구체화하고 실행에 옮기는 계기를 만들겠다는 의지를 밝혔다.
